Members of the Indigenous, Brown and Latinx community and the Black Lives Matter movement in New York gathered at Marcus Garvey Park on August 21rst to demand an end to police terror, and remember the many brown/indigenous/latinx victims of police brutality in their community while the media has chosen not say a word about them. The groups are demanding justice for Noel Aguilar, Anthony Nuñez, Phil Quinn, Sarah Lee Circle Bear, Melissa Ventura and many more. The community marched throughout Upper Manhattan in their names and demand that the police and state be held accountable for their murders.
