NYC Residents Stage Protest Against Administration's White Supremacist Policies While Trump is in Town

New York, NY - On September 18, 2017; Rise and Resist, a direct action group conducted a demonstration focused on the administration's racist policies at the main corridor of Grand Central Terminal, followed by a march to Times Square. A total of !0 demonstrators were arrested during the march.

Trump will be addressing the United Nations' General Assembly on Tuesday, September 19th. 

The Trump administration's white supremacist views aren't just exemplified by his 'many sides' comment; they are built into the administration's policies including the repeal of DACA, the Muslim Ban, prison privatization, focus on drug criminalization, racist voter suppression efforts, and tax breaks for the wealthy.
