President Trump’s recent comments on immigrants from Haiti and Africa are racist, divisive, and completely unbefitting of a person leading a nation that owes so much to the contributions of immigrants from all over the world. On Monday, New Yorkers will commemorate the birthday of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by joining together in solidarity for their immigrant sisters and brothers, showing the progress being made to help achieve Dr. King’s dream.
